” Inauguration ceremony of three days first international conference on Mathematics for Sustainable Future started at WUM “

The first three days international conference under the auspices of the Department of Mathematics, the Women University has started today at Katchery campus. The title of the conference, is ” Role of Mathematics for Sustainable Future”. The chief guest of the inaugural session was Vice Chancellor Prof.Dr M. Kamran (MNS Engineering and Technology University, Multan).The focal person of the conference was Dr. Qammar Rubab ( Chairperson Department of Mathematics) and Dr. Zil-e Shams. Addressing the opening ceremony, Dr. Kamran said that when first time international year of Mathematics was celebrated in 2013 under the auspices of UNESCO, mathematicians realized that the role that mathematics has to played now must be appreciated in every phenomenon on earth. He said that it is very important to hold a conference on the topic in which scientists, researchers and scholars will benefit teachers and students with their knowledge and experience. The conference will be instrumental in innovative comparative studies between mathematics and other disciplines and the latest developments in these disciplines, practical difficulties and their solutions. The articles presented at the conference will help to better understand the subject of mathematics in a more holistic way and will pave the way for new solutions to related problems. Addressing the conference, Dr. Qammar Rubab said that mathematics is not only limited to books. It is present in every aspect of our lives. She further said that the purpose of this conference is to see how mathematics is related to various fields studied in educational institutions, and more importantly, how mathematics is related to various aspects of our lives. Therefore, it is hoped that this conference will yield further results.It is a hybrid mode event that will bring together professors, researchers, scholars and students from around the world in all areas of mathematics. The conference is an ideal platform for sharing the latest research findings and evaluating emerging technologies for researchers, practitioners and professionals from around the world to better serve the world for a sustainable future.In three days international conference, the international speakers include Dr. Abigail Thompson from America, Dr. Stefanella Boatta from Brazil, Dr. Wollmark from Germany, Dr. Norma Alias from Malaysia, Kamran Soomro( UK), Dr. Tanvir Tabish (UK), Maadoun Mortada from South Korea, Dr. Qazi( South Korea) Mohammad Saqib from Turkey, Dr. Ayesha from Hungary, and Dr. Gyula will present their research papers. While the key note speakers on the first day include Dr. EL Gheteb Soueidi, Dr. MH Sheikhkarriz, Dr. Mina Bigdeli, Dr. Farkhanda Afzal, Dr. Muhammad Imran Asjad, Dr. Jose Carlos, Dr. Muhammad Riaz, Dr. Athar Kharal, Dr. Shabnam Malik, and Dr. Saima Anas. At the end Dr. Qammar Rubab presented souvenirs among the guests and participants of the conference.
