The Student Financial Aid Office (SFAO) The Women University Multan is aimed to provide to the student centered approach, and by providing funds and financial guidance to deserving student access to higher education.

Through a sincere commitment to all students and their families, we strive to eliminate financial and other barriers to higher education. We make a conscious effort to reach out to those with exceptional economic and educational needs. We are dedicated to providing high-quality service in a fair, sensitive, and confidential environment to all individuals, regardless of background, culture, or lifestyle.

Objective

To accomplish this mission, the SFAO establishes the following program objectives:

  • Process scholarships efficiently, in an accurate and timely way.
  • Make timely disbursements of scholarships to all eligible students.
  • Provide quality advising services by addressing individual student needs, responding to student inquiries in a timely manner, and providing quality publications.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, laws, and policies in the administration of financial aid and scholarship programs.

EHSAAS Scholarship

Criteria for Selection: 

  • Scholarship available for Undergraduate Students only.
  • Only Fresh Candidates admitted on Merit.
  • Monthly Income (from all sources) not Exceeding than Rs.45000/-
  • Student availing any other Scholarship or grant are ineligible.
  • Distance Learning / Evening / Self Finance Students are ineligible.
  • Online application system.
  • 50% Scholarships reserved for Female Students and 2% for Disable Students.

WUM Students Welfare Fund

The SWFM Committee approved the SOP’s as regard of Tuition Fee on kinship basis / grant of Need Based Scholarships to the students on the terms and conditions as proposed by the office of Treasurer listed as follows:

  • Institutional Need Based Scholarship for Intermediate, BS and Master’s Student (Stipend 3000 to 5000).
  • Refund of Tuition Fee on Kinship Basis (1st Sister – 50% Tuition Fee & 2nd Sister – 25% Tuition Fee).
  • Refund of Tuition Fee to Hafiz-e-Quran (2 Students only a year).
  • Refund of Fee to the Orphans an Poor Students (VC Disposal).
  • Candidates admitted on Merit.
  • Student availing any other Scholarship or grant are ineligible.
  • Distance Learning /Evening /Self Finance Students are ineligible.

Rahmatul-lil-Alameen Scholarship

For Undergraduate Students Only

  • Candidate must be a Topper from the Merit List.
  • Candidate must be completed her Intermediate from Public Institutions.
  • Student availing any other Scholarship or grant are ineligible.
  • Distance Learning /Evening /Self Finance Students are ineligible.

Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Scholarship

Selection Criteria:

  • For Undergraduate, Masters & M.Phil. Students.
  • Candidates admitted on Merit.
  • Monthly Income (from all sources) not Exceeding than Rs.10000/-
  • Student availing any other Scholarship or grant are ineligible.
  • Distance Learning /Evening /Self Finance Students are ineligible.

PEEF Scholarship (BS Level)

  • For BS Level Students 60% required in Intermediate Examinations (only student of Federal Govt. Institutions situated within geographical boundaries of Punjab are eligible)
  • Punjab Domicile
  • Candidates admitted on Merit
  • Already pass masters exam shall not be eligible
  • For Graduation Level Student Declared Monthly Income of Parents (from all sources) is equal to or less than Rs.30,000/-
  • For Special Quota PEEF Scholarship, the student must fall in following categories:
  • Orphan children
  • Children of government servants in BPS 1 – 4 (Note: the children of government servants in BPS 1-4 are exempted from income limit criteria if salary is the only source of income)
  • Children belonging to minority religion
  • Special children
  • Student availing any other Scholarship or grant are ineligible
  • Distance Learning / Evening / Self Finance Students are ineligible

  • The fund is disseminated via Pin Code and E-Card provided by PEEF

PEEF Scholarship (MS/M.PHIL Level)

The students must have:

  • Punjab domicile.
  • Secured at least 60% marks or a minimum CGPA 2.5 in BA/ BSc/ BCOM/ BS/ BBA etc. in annual examination held in last three years in Punjab.
  • Secured admission as a fulltime student in the current academic year in a partner university.
  • Students enrolled in spring/fall session (where applicable) and morning/ afternoon / evening sessions (where applicable) are also eligible to apply for PEEF Master's scholarships.
  • Declared monthly income of parents (from all sources) is equal to or less than PKR. 40,000/-
  • Children of Government employees in BPS 1-4 are exempted from the condition of income, if salary is only source of income.
  • Children of civilians martyred in terrorist attacks are also exempted from the condition of income limit
  • Besides fulfilling PEEF eligibility criteria, the prospective student must qualify the merit and need criteria of the respective University / government post graduate college.

HEC Need Base Scholarship

Selection Criteria: 

  • Scholarships available for Undergraduate Students.
  • Candidates admitted on Merit.
  • Monthly Income (from all sources) not Exceeding than Rs. 45000/-
  • Students availing any other Scholarship or grant are ineligible.
  • Already enrolled Needy students are also eligible to apply and after selection, the disbursement of funds shall start from the Date of Award.
  • Distance Learning / Evening / Self Finance Students are ineligible.
  • The eligibility of a candidate is linked to neediness of the candidate as determined & assessed by SFAO keeping in view of financial background.
  • Every student will be paid Rs. 6000 stipend per month.
  • For continued scholars, attendance should not less than 75%.
