Summary

Dr. Sidra Mubeen, Assistant Professor, Department of chemistry, The Women University Multan. She received her Ph.D. degree in the subject of Organic Chemistry from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan under indigenous scholarship as well as one-year IRSIP training from the department of Chemistry, University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. Her area of expertise includes total synthesis of natural products and dyes, biosynthesis, and biological screening of synthetic drugs to cure human as well as novel poultry viruses and has keen interest for in vivo studies for the recommendation to cure COVID-19. She has published  articles in impact factor international journals. She has been selected as best teacher during NFDP-HEC training, HEC approved supervisor and recently recommended for Associate fellow under UK-PSF. She has successfully completed many national/international trainings related her professional career. She won 1 million SRGP grant by HEC. She served as visiting lecturer in different prestigious institutions; Govt. post graduate college Chishtian, GSCWU Bahawalpur, and contract lecturer in UAF-sub campus Toba Tek Singh. Currently she IPFP Fellow at Department of Chemistry, The Women University Multan. Dr. Sidra supervising 6 M.Phil. and 3 Ph.D. students her research expertise includes isolation, purification, characterization, biosynthesis, total synthesis of natural products, heterocycles, dyes, and biological screening of synthetic drugs. She can run advanced instruments like Nuclear magnetic spectroscopy (NMR), Fourier Transformer Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LCMS), High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)and Ozonizer. She has expertise to run research related softwares; Mist Renova, Chem Draw, Chem Sketch, Reaxys and Scifinder.
