Summary

Dr. Faryal Aftab did her BS in Chemistry from Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU), Multan. She did her MS in Physical Chemistry in from the same university and her research was focused on the fabrication of polymer composites for targeted drug delivery applications. She was Gold Medalist in both BS and MS degrees. After that, she secured a fully funded admission at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Lahore for her PhD. She worked as a Research Assistant (RA) at the Functional Nanofiber Group at LUMS and received a handsome amount as monthly stipend. She was also awarded with Indigenous fellowship of HEC. Her research focuses in PhD was focused on the design and synthesis of nanofibers and nanocomposites for applications in energy and environment. Her research work has been published in high quality peer-reviewed journals such as Chemcatchem, Synthetic Metals, Chemistry Select, Polymer Bulletin, Journal of Environmental Chemical Engineering, Journal of Materials Science. Materials in Electronics and Journal of Energy Storage. Dr. Faryal is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Physical Chemistry the Department of Chemistry, The Women University (WUM), Multan.
