The Department of physics is the oldest seat of learning and imparting knowledge of physics at the intermediate and graduate level in southern Punjab since 1960.The BS Program was offered in 2010. In 2013 department was merged in The Women University Multan. The Department has its own well-equipped laborites and lecture rooms. To improve knowledge there is a vast collection of books of physics in the main library.
The department is conducting teaching and experimental work at BS, M.Sc., and M.Phil., Ph.D. Levels.
