National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC), Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad Accreditation Inspection Committee visit the Institute of Computer Science & Information Technology, The Women University, Multan; for accreditation of BSCS and BSIT Programs on Friday, May 5th, 2023.

The inspection committee members complete their inspection in the institute according to their defined time frame and activities accordingly and they appreciate all the efforts which have been implemented in the institute.
Pharmacy Council of Pakistan visited Department of Pharmacy, The Women University Multan at Matital Campus on September 4, 2022. The respected members of PCP inspection team (Prof. Dr. Saeed Ahmad (convener), Dr. Ghulam Razaque, Dr. Ubaid Khan) were warmly welcomed by the University officials including Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Uzma Quraishi, Registrar Dr. Qammar Rubab, Chairperson Department of Pharmacy, Dr. Kanwal Rehman and faculty members.
A formal introduction on the overview of University and Department of Pharmacy was presented by the Chairperson Dr. Kanwal Rehman.
This was followed by physical examination of various facilities as per requirements of PCP. During inspection, the team started from library and checked the number of available books and student issuance criteria. Latter they visited allocated building for the Department of Pharmacy, class rooms, lecture theaters, seminar hall, faculty offices, dealing office, laboratories for computer lab, available instruments and equipments, chemicals, solvents, glassware.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Uzma Quraishi thanked the delegation for their visit she expressed her remarks that several efforts have been endeavored and executed in order to improve the reputation of this university with a view to enhance it's educational standards in a very short span of time.
Grant of NOC for Pharm-D Program by PCP:
Proud moment for WUM as Pakistan Pharmacy Council of Pakistan granted NOC of Pharm D Program and approved one hundred seats per annum on October 18, 2022. The Women University Multan is the first
Public Sector University in Southern Punjab offering Pharm D program for female students. The Department of Pharmacy has vision to achieve excellence in Pharmacy education in Pakistan through teaching, innovative learning, research, community engagement ad inter-professional collaboration. The Department of Pharmacy aims to prepare qualified graduates with strong professional knowledge, skills and attributes in the field of Pharmaceutical sciences helping to improve the health care system and wellbeing of the community facing challenging environment.
Initially the Women University, Multan (WUM) was housed in the Government Degree College Katchehry campus and later a new campus was constructed and started its functioning at Matital. This university was chartered by Government of Punjab in 2010. A bachelor degree in Environmental Science was initiated in 2017 and current students enrolled in 4 batches are 160.
A Quality Assurance & Accreditation Awareness Seminar was conducted on November 19, 2021 at The Women University, Multan (WUM). Dr. Sara Musaddiq, Director QEC, WUM and Dr. Shazia Jabeen, Chairperson Department of Environmental Science welcomed NAEAC team and held a meeting with Prof. Dr. Uzma Qureshi, Vice Chancellor, WUM to discuss various aspects of applied research and mutual interest. The awareness seminar was started with the recitation of Holy Quran. Dr. Sara Musaddiq, Director QEC, WUM gave an overview of the University and Ms. Syeda Shaima Maryam, Lecturer, Department of Environmental Science presented accomplishments of the Department of Environmental Science. Prof. Dr. Ishtiaq A. Rajwana, Chairperson, NAEAC said that the main object of National Agriculture Education Accreditation Council (NAEAC) is to validate the quality of education in the country. As many institutions are offering agriculture- related degree programs hence, it is crucial to certify the quality of education and research facilities provided to the students by these
institutions. To help this purpose, NAEAC was formed by HEC in 2005 which started its functioning in 2008 for accreditation of agriculture degree programs. He defined in depth the process of accreditation and its role in standardizing the agriculture and allied education across the country. He also emphasized the four major and three minor criteria considered in the accreditation process.
Students and faculty members of the department of Environmental Science attended the seminar. Prof. Dr. Uzma Qureshi, Vice Chancellor, WUM said that our university does not compromise on quality of education. For this, refresher courses are also conducted for the teachers. Dr. Uzma expressed gratitude to the guest speaker and assured that the university will fulfill the accreditation requirements to maintain the quality of education
