UPDATES ON UG ADMISSIONS – FALL 2022

Special Updates (COVID-19 Situation)

1.  FA / FSc Stream

Candidates who will appear in respective Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) exams to be held tentatively in September / October 2020 can apply for UG admissions (session 2020 only) subject to following.

a) They will provide the FA/FSc result as per WUM eligibility criteria within one year from date of enrolment (start of academic session 2020).

b) Candidates of FSc Pre medical, who are planning to take Additional Maths paper in upcoming September / October 2020 BISE exams, have to provide Additional Maths result with more than 60% marks, within one year from date of enrolment (start of academic session 2020).

c) They will provide an undertaking regarding their completion of educational documents as per WUM eligibility criteria on legal stamp paper of Rs. 100/- duly signed by candidate & his / her parents, at time of admission.

2.  O/A Level Stream

O & A level / equivalent qualification candidates who have not opted for predicted grades and will appear for A level / equivalent qualification exams in October 2020, including private candidates, can apply for UG admissions (session 2020 only) subject to following.

a) They will provide the A level / equivalent qualification, equivalence certificate duly obtained from IBCC, Pakistan as per WUM eligibility criteria within one year from date of enrolment (start of academic session 2020).

b) Candidates who are required to qualify in three compulsory subject (Urdu, Islamiat and Pak Studies) in October / November 2020 exams can apply provided they have valid O level equivalence certificate duly obtained from IBCC at time of applying to WUM.

c) They will provide an undertaking regarding their completion of educational documents as per WUM eligibility criteria on legal stamp paper of Rs. 100/- duly signed by candidate & his / her parents, at time of admission.

3.    SAT Stream

SAT stream candidates whom 29 August 2020 SAT exam has been cancelled / postponed can apply for UG admissions (session 2020 only) till 25 Sep 2020 subject to following.

a) SAT score should be entered in online application form till 10 October 2020 positively, otherwise merit will not be generated. SAT stream candidates for session 2020 will send their SAT score via email (satadmissions@wum.edu.pk) as soon as the results are released online but not later than 10 October 2020. Also these candidates will enter their SAT score in online application form till 10 Oct 2020. (the option will be available in candidate’s respective account). No SAT score will be accepted after the deadline.

b) Merit list of SAT stream candidates will be generated after this date.

As session 2020 is being commenced from mid-October 2020, therefore these prospective candidates will have short time to complete admission formalities including fee payments, in case of admission.

Above updates are taken as a tentative measure to help the students and in case there is no improvement in COVID-19 current situation, the above updates are liable to change, imparting no liability on WUM regarding UG admissions of session 2020.
