Ms. Uzma Shuakat , a PhD Scholar, Department of English, The Women University Multan has successfully defended her dissertation and became a PhD doctor. Her dissertation was entitled
“EARLY BILINGUALISM AND ITS IMPACT : A STUDY OF SEMANTIC DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN IN PAKISTANI CONTEXT”
She completed her research work under the Supervision of Prof. Dr Mubina Talat. Prof. Dr Mamuna Ghani (External Examiner/Professor, Dean Faculty of Arts,IUB) conducted oral examination/ Viva Voce and Public Defense of above mentioned candidate on 15-06-2022 in L-shape building near Main Administrative Block Ketchery Campus, The Women University Multan. The candidate satisfactorily defended her thesis and answered the questions. Dr. Hina Ali, COE, Dr. Mamona Yasmin Khan (Chairperson Department of English WUM), Dr. Munazzah Rabbani (Ex-Officio Member, Department of English, WUM), Dr. Durr-e-Nayab ( Assistant Coordinator- M.Phil/ PhD Program), all faculty members and many other M.Phil and PhD research scholars were also present in the defense.
